Syctghen the duck
Dordrechts Museum
The Museum in Dordrecht recently purchased a portrait of Syctghen the duck, painted by Aelbert Cuyp. Hoogsteder & Hoogsteder is delighted to be able to contribute to the presentation marking this acquisition by lending an exhibit. Curator Sander Paarlberg presents Hoogsteder's painting by Abraham van Calraet, in which Sytcghen swims in front of a group of horses.
